The craft
As a young girl, my mother taught me sewing and knitting.
Every leash has an ultra-strong core, a looped handle and a loop at the end for your collar or chain. Other styles, colours or lengths on request.

The collection
To my knowledge, a first in America: you choose everything: the material, the pattern, the colour of each of the 4 strands, the length, the attachment and the handle. You watch your braid take shape live, then send me your design. I make it by hand, just for your dog.

Design your leash
Choose the colour of each strand, the length, the attachment and the handle. The braid and its pattern take shape before your eyes. Beads are chosen separately afterwards. Then send me your design for a quote.

Time really matters
My commitment
A beautiful leash doesn’t need kangaroo leather
No animal leather
No kangaroo, no cowhide, no animal at all: I refuse to let an animal die to make a leash when there are other ways to make beautiful ones.
What I use
Faux leather, vegetable leather, satin, paracord, beads and stones, polymer clay and resin, chosen for their beauty and strength.
How it’s made
Four strands braided by hand around an ultra-strong core, a looped handle, a loop for the collar. One leash at a time.
Why my handmade creations are made without animal-derived materials
Crafting without animal-derived materials represents an ethical and sustainable alternative that offers many benefits.
Respect for Animals
By choosing not to use animal-derived materials, I am committed to avoiding contributing to animal suffering and exploitation.
Environmental Protection
Raising animals for the fashion industry has a significant environmental impact. By choosing plant-based alternatives and animal-free materials, I aim to reduce my environmental footprint and contribute to the preservation of natural resources.
Quality and Durability
Many plant-based and synthetic materials offer properties comparable to, or even superior to, animal-derived materials for certain applications. They can be just as strong, soft, and elegant. My goal is to carefully select high-quality materials to create products that are beautiful, functional, and durable.
Innovation and Creativity
Animal-free crafting opens the door to new techniques and designs. By exploring different alternatives, I am constantly seeking innovative and creative solutions to develop unique and original products.
An Ethical and Responsible Choice
By choosing handmade creations made without animal-derived materials, you are making a choice that reflects a commitment to respecting animals and supporting more responsible manufacturing practices.
As a craftswoman, I am proud to offer unique, high-quality creations that reflect both my values and those of my customers.
Please feel free to contact me to discover my work and learn more about my approach to animal-free craftsmanship.
Materials I use in my creations
Here are some examples:
- Cotton
- Linen
- Hemp
- Bamboo
- Vegan silk
- Vegan leather
These materials offer a wide variety of textures, colors, and properties, allowing me to create unique and original products.
An important note about vegan materials
Contrary to what their names might suggest, vegan leather and vegan silk are not necessarily made from plant-based materials. Some of these materials may contain synthetic fibers or plastics, including polyurethane or polyester.
The term “vegan” primarily means that a product contains no animal-derived materials. It does not automatically guarantee that the product is natural, biodegradable, or environmentally friendly. The environmental impact of these alternatives depends on several factors, including their composition, manufacturing process, lifespan, and recyclability.
That is why I believe it is essential to make informed and transparent choices regarding the materials used in my creations.
My commitment
I am constantly exploring new materials and techniques to improve the quality and durability of my work.
My goal is simple: to create unique, durable, and beautiful handmade products without using animal-derived materials, while making choices that are as environmentally responsible as possible.
“Just because a material has been used for generations doesn’t make it essential.”
